Bedroom + Private Bathroom Available

Currently looking for a roommate to take a room that is going to be vacant starting September/October. Previous roommates had to move due to a job and the lease goes through the end of January. Possibility to extend another 12 months if wanted though that will be discussed further out.

In the house now we are two professionals who work in SF and one student. We mainly keep to ourselves but are more than willing to cook up group meals or go out to a movie. We all play video and board games, some of us enjoy bad movies, and we don't smoke or drink (much). 2 of us are gay cis men, 1 is a straight cis man and we are fairly liberal and very accepting. We're all in our 30s as well.

The room available is a moderate size - good for one person but we had two people living in it. It has its own, private en suite bathroom so you would not need to share a bathroom with anyone. It is also on the third floor of a townhouse so if you have trouble with stairs, that could be an issue. The house itself is a corner unit and there is a moderate level of street parking close by as well as some parking spaces. It's 5 minutes from Hayward BART, 5 minutes from downtown Hayward, 5 minutes from 880, and right near a Capital Corridor station. It is surrounded by parks and there is an elementary school nearby.

The house also has two communal living spaces that are open to everyone - including TVs with Chromecasts! And an elliptical in one of those spaces. House also has in-unit laundry (we own the washer and dryer) so there's no need to go out to do laundry.

The landlord does not accept pets. They made an exception for birds for the previous roommates but took a hard stance on cats/dogs.

Rent would be $1100 and then utilities on top of that (water, PG&E, and internet - trash is taken care of by one tenant) which will fluctuate a bit.
