I am looking for the right person to share my 2-story duplex with. My home has a spacious kitchen and living room and the available room in large, (12x 14) sunny and has 2 large closets. It has many conveniences as well. It has off street parking, washer and dryer, and is close to stores and BART and buses. I am quite independent, but like to have a warm and friendly home environment.

Me: 50’s, therapist who works at my Oakland office Tuesday-Friday. I am an artist so you will see my pieces on the walls around the house.

2-story duplex. First floor: large living room and a big kitchen with an eat-in area overlooking the beautiful garden. The house is spacious and gives each person plenty of space. Second floor: 2 bedrooms with the bathroom in between the two bedrooms. The bathroom has a shower and a separate bath. The home is located on a busy street. There is street noise during the day, but it is quiet at night.

Washer/dryer, off-street parking, dishwasher (portable), huge garden with sitting places, raised beds for growing vegetables, multiple fruit trees, walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, bus, and BART.
Terms
Rent $975 plus half of the PG and E and bill. Internet included. Move-in cost is first, last and $500 deposit ($2,450 total)

COVID-19
I am looking for a like-minded person, so our home feels like a safe place at this strange time in our history. I provide in-person services as a therapist, but everyone is masked, 6 feet apart, with airflow, two air sanitizers, and not exposed to COVID-19 (as much as you can control that). In my personal life, I socialize outdoors primarily. I am vaccinated and boosted and would only want someone who is also vaccinated and boosted as well. Now that the indoor mask requirement has been lifted I am looking for a roommate who will still go grocery shopping with a mask.
