Room in quiet north Berkeley neighborhood

We are a couple looking for a short-term renter (no couples, please) to live in a sunny, furnished room in our 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house, for up to 6 months. Start and end dates are flexible.

This is a quiet neighborhood, but quite close to public transportation [buses, BART], and within walking distance to shops [including Trader Joe's and the Monterey Market], bicycle routes and a couple of nice parks. We're just over 1.5 miles from the U. C. campus.??

Our 1100 sq. foot house has a sunny living room with a small kitchen and dining area.

The bedroom that we're renting is approximately 12' X 12', and comes with a full-sized mattress, a desk, a closet and a chest of drawers. One window looks out onto the street, the other onto a small enclosed backyard.?? You'll be sharing a bathroom with a woman.

Rent includes Wi-Fi, utilities and use of kitchen and washer/dryer. Move-in cost is first month's rent, period (no deposit, no last month's rent).

We already have two cats-- so please, no more pets.
