Hi! I'm returning to DC after a 7 year hiatus! I will be taking up a postdoctoral fellowship to research/writing for my next project relating to migration in. the 1930s/1940s. I officially start on September 1st and it runs through May 2026.
When I'm not in the archives, I love spending time in coffee shops, museums (!), and parks. I cook and bake a variety of dishes when I want so I appreciate a full kitchen! I am an experienced traveler, having visited many parts of Europe and Australia. If you live near a trail, all the better as I am a runner and I hope to do a marathon next year.
I tend to be a bit reserved at first but will get friendly and open once we get to know each other. As former professor and a historian, I appreciate and respect a wide variety of perspectives on life and willingness to be challenged.
Because of my low vision, I keep living spaces tidy and organized so no clutter please.
