Quiet life

Unassuming, quiet man, looking for escape after 7 year marriage to demanding narcissist. Friendly and resourceful, but a loner. Self employed in internet services and music publishing. Looking for space in a comfortable house. Need kitchen privileges since I love to cook. Heart condition keeps me mellow. (nothing to worry about). Reading, relaxing, TV at the end of the day. Eclectic tastes in music. Chilled and balanced roommate sought. Not a quiet freak. I know that sometimes you just have to turn up the volume. (within reason). I don't want to feel relegated to my room, but I can take a hint if a situation comes up.

Most of the ads I've received seem like nice places and from nice people. I'd like to find a place north of downtown, (or downtown, if accessible) I smoke, but not in my house because I don't want my belongings to smell like a cigarette. So I don't mind if you smoke as long as I don't smell like cigarettes.
