Conference in NYC - need a room to rent

It's funny how one week can change a perspective. The last text for this ad was written in a rush because I needed to find accommodation as soon as possible because a trip to the US from Europe is not a thing I do on a daily basis.
I just spotted that the description I wrote recently was pretty soulless. I mentioned working in AR/VR field and attending conferences to validate myself, so a potential landlord does not perceive me as a person who can cause trouble or something.
I guess the more I try to act "normal," the more awkward it looks. Probably next week, I will look at this ad and think, "why did I post that? It has nothing to do with a rent search".
But at the end of the day, if we are meant to live together, then it's best to know how we think and who we are. Many times when I go somewhere, I go for views but stay for people. But I still forget how amazing meeting and connecting with people is. Ok, I think I have now recalibrated, and I am ready for new search results.
