Hey y'all! I'm Jei'elle (Zh-eye-elle) But call me Jei for short :3 . I'm a black Genderqueer with an uber-photogenic cat, Nimbus (or nimmy). We both use they/them pronouns.
I'm new to the city from Chicago and work in food service management (Times square). In my free time I'm looking into ways of expanding my martial arts practice (Parkour and Wing-Chun), getting into modelling??? or spending time with my **lovely** partner (their emphasis added). I've recently experienced housing insecurity and have been living with them for the past month and some change, I'm a bit more settled and on my feet, and have financially recovered a bit from everything and am ready for my own space out here. That being said I will be back and forth spending time with them and at home!
More housing need deets:
Ideal area is near Morgan/Jefferson L (But I'm flexy) The loudest thing about me is my singing in the shower, and my anxious bby cat when I'm out of the house.
I'm looking for at least 6 months and can do 8 at most (gonna get a place with said gorgeous and smarty pants partner once their lease ends). I really want to have a peaceful living situation that is LGBTQ+ friendly because being black and trans is not easy.
I'm fastidious about cleaning, don't mind the dirty work even in common areas, and either make meals w/ tiny portions or for 5 people to eat across two days, there is no in-between. I like to have community with others and also keep to myself a lot as well for self care. My cat is a sweetie who would love to have a window. She can function confined to my room (she has a kennel she enjoys as well) but would love to be able to zoom if you're alright with it.
Feel free to hit me up with any questions! My partner and their roommates have been so kind to me and I don't want to overstay if at all possible. I'm super open to doing what I need to do for housing.
