Starting Over at Mid-Life

First hair appt result since pre-pandemic! 09-28-21

A mature & responsible divorced 54 y/o woman ISO quiet, private living area. Preferably a basement large bedroom with private bathroom while I start a single life after 27+ yrs of marriage. I raised 3 children who now live across the country. I left St Louis to begin a new life. I have no family, pets, or children in Colorado. However, I do love animals & children. I have no desire to date. Ever. Reserved but friendly & personable. No job yet but looking. I have monthly alimony. I helped my husband’s business, managed a household, and was active raising my children.
I am honest and kind (to a fault) Willing to be part of a team for home maintenance and upkeep. Looking for someone who could use a housemate to help. I would sign a lease through June 2022, and then revisit the arrangement. Can provide recent Background Check, excellent references, proof of income and credit score. Willing to put down a refundable deposit. Parking is a plus. I’m someone who will be there when needed but not when you don’t. I value my privacy and will value yours.
I’m looking for a place I can afford that will provide both of us with a win/win situation. My apartment lease is up the end of December but I will pay a deposit to hold my “spot” now and begin paying rent Dec 1st for a leisurely transition from here to there.
