We are reaching out to you because we are a nonprofit providing housing services in Contra Costa County. Bay Area Community Services (BACS) agency consists of many different housing programs that provide rental assistance coupled with solid wraparound services in this community.

BACS believes that building strong and lasting partnerships with property owners and managers is the best way to end homelessness. The key to the individual’s success with BACS is the sustainability of the tenancy through strong connections with BACS staff and solid case management supports. By providing on-going supports BACS is able to assist both the tenant and the property owner by providing a direct contact here at BACS that will work with both parties to help resolve any challenges that may come up. We do this via mediation and other financial supports that may be available.

BACS’s innovative systems ensure a fast and orderly move in experience. Our processing time form application acceptance and move in can be done in as little at 7 days. We are positioned to quickly approve leases and get payments out to the property owner immediately. We also offer many other benefits such as:
