Cat friendly dog dad need new digs

Looking for a new place for myself and my 13 year old pup. She's a small medium 33lb mix breed who is friendly but aloof and mostly just wants to sleep. Our living situation has changed quickly and and unexpectedly and while early August is a good marker, sooner is fine too.

Smaller to larger size room is all is all agreeable. I work full time near Governor's Ranch in south Lakewood, so the primary preferences are cost and location without an overly long commute.

I'm a non-but former-tobacco user, would prefer somewhere/one who doesn't smoke cigarettes inside, but it isn't a deal breaker. I'm also LGBTQ+ safe if either of those describe you. I've had both male and female roommates, and know how to keep spaces clean, very respectful of others spaces and property. I bring no drama, drugs, or criminal history with me and hope for similar in return.

My background is in photography and design, friendly and sociable but also introverted. When not working I typically like to decompress and spend my free time reading, watching movies (huge cinephile), gaming, or working on art. I walk about 5-7 miles during work, so not a big weekend mountaineer.
