27 yrs female look for someone to sign the lease
Look for another roommate to do apartment hunting and sign a lease together.
Something about me:
I have lived in NYC for over 2 years and had to relocate to New Jersey for work, I just got a Engineer position in Google NYC so I am moving back, I have been living with roommates for all these years, so I have learned how to be a respectful roommate, and looking for the same.
I am on top of my expenses, usually on weekdays, I'd like to keep it low key, after work I just stay home watching some videos while eating, and do some work or learning. Maybe after moving back to NYC I will have one evening out during weekdays since there is so much going on in the city. On weekends I will try to be active either in or out of city, nightlife, out with friends, events, outdoor, hiking, etc.
The Ideal Apartment:
Budget: $1500, I want to try to keep it $1500, but can be a little bit flexible depends on the condition of the apartment.
Location:
My company is at Chelsea Market, so I am looking for a place that's within 20 minutes commute, the place should be close to the train station, walking during the winter is torture lol. So maybe East Village, Financial District, Upper West Side, Midtown West, etc
Size:
Ideally a 2 Bedroom apt, I want to stick with this job for at least 2 years so I am looking a place that's comfortable to live in, I don't want it to be too small, should be a full size bedroom at least, if it's hard to get a decent size apartment in Manhattan, I am also good with an apt in Brooklyn/NJ that's within 20 minutes commute time. And if we want to get a bigger and newer apartment, we can sign a 3 Bedroom apt and find another roommate
Move-in date: November 1st, but I can also be flexible with move-in date.
The Ideal Roommate:
I am looking for someone that's around my age, female, respectful, had experience sharing apartment with roommates, ideally a working professional. I understand not everyone will end up becoming friends with their roommate, people have different schedules and interests, and sometimes people just want to decompress and don't want to spend too much time talking after work(I am like that sometimes). But nobody wants to live with strangers, I hope we can try to keep our relationship by taking our relationship outside of our apartment, like trying to go out together once a month. I had very good experiences with many roommates, but one that's not very pleasant. I hope you are not the kinda person saying mean things about me behind my back(yeah I am talking from experience), we will be sharing space, so I hope we will be open to each other, instead of sharing each other's personal life with other people.
Btw I am happy to exchange Instagram if interested!
