I am mostly looking to rent a room in a house in Nassau (Long Island on the north shore), a room on the border of Nassau/queens, or a room in queens that?s closer to Nassau than the city. In Suffolk, but more like the Nassau/Suffolk border. I would love to eventually get a cat again (negotiable of course), but an animal lover would be great or someone who already had a cat or dog that was friendly. Also, I would be in the house-apartment a lot of the time, so my roommate would have to be ok with this. Lastly for any nyc apartments (and I know this is nearly impossible, but I would love to find a room in an apartment on a first floor- no walk ups except maybe a few stairs to get in the building.) Please note for Long Island, I am looking to spend between 1000-1200 dollars, but for anything in Manhattan with utilities included I couldn?t go above 1350. Please note that I am sweet and kind and would be a very considerate roommate. Just looking for a compassionate roommate who could be like family.
