Room walking/biking distance to Hayes Valley

I am a 28 year old female from England and moving to San Francisco, working as a High School maths teacher in an international school. I am going into my 7th year of teaching, and have been teaching in Japan for the last 3 years (no, unfortunately I cannot speak Japanese! haha)

I am clean and respectful and am not a party girl. In fact I'll likely be in bed by 10-11pm most weeknights to be up early for school in the morning. I would like to have room mates that wouldn?t mind hanging out in the shared spaces some evenings but wouldn?t be bothered with giving each other time alone in their rooms too!

I like to cook, and when I have the motivation and time I will do so from scratch. I tend (room allowing) to make enough to freeze portions (lunches and other dinners). I would be happy to share the food too ???? Although I do enjoy a good outing to a decent food place!

In my spare time I like to read and listen to music/audiobooks/podcasts, do yoga, play the xbox (not very often) and go hiking/snowboarding. After reading a few adverts, some of these things seem quite cliched!
I am looking to explore and make new hobbies, preferably something sporty to keep me active.

A lot of listings are asking for Social Media links but mine are not public because I don't want students looking at my stuff haha. I do have a teaching Instagram, but it doesnt say too much about me. (lgreenmaths)

I don?t arrive until the 21st July and then will only be in the city for a couple of days before heading elsewhere for a few more days ( a work thing). I just wanted to let you know I was interested and let you know some things about me and to see if you would be interested.
