Hey! I know you're looking at my rent and think I'm crazy - I grew up in Hoboken, I know. But I'm willing to supplement the rent by taking care of the apartment, any pets (I love pets), housekeeping, etc - and I would also be willing to sleep on a sleeping bag on the floor if need be, or on a couch in the corner.
I like the idea of hanging out with roommates but am willing to make any adjustments to your comfort. I can very much make myself barely seen and heard, and my history traveling via Couchsurfing and Airbnb has made me hyperaware of keeping a house that isn't technically mine clean and tidy. I take relatively short showers and don't ever host parties.
