Looking for a cheap room

I'm a 32 year-old male. I just moved to Los Angeles and need a cheap room to stay for a month-to-month short term of up to a few months.

I'm laid back and independent and generally keep to myself, but I can be friendly with roommates and guests as well. I'm new to the area, so I don't have a lot of friends to bring over, but I'm not a partying type anyway.

I am very tidy and keep all common areas clean. I can also chip in on housework and extra cleaning of needed.

I would prefer a private room, and a private bathroom would be great, but access to a shared bathroom is fine too.

I have a car, so parking on site would be ideal, but as long as there is ample street parking in the area, I can deal with that.
