Looking for a place in lower Manhattan

I'm looking for a room or my own place at a maximum of $1,500/month, somewhere between Midtown-Financial district. I work at an AI company in Midtown, and studied at Parsons School of Design.

I work late on weekdays and usually eat out. On weekends I cook once or twice and go out to dinner or for drinks with friends. I don't go out too late, and don't come home and make noise or cook late at night!

I don't have pets but love dogs. I don't smoke or do any drugs. I'd like to use the place to relax after work, sleep and maybe host a few girlfriends once in a while (not weekly!)

I guarantee to pay my rent on time, I'm respectful and very friendly! I'm looking for someone who is also friendly and respectful.
