Seeking a room in Astoria, maybe BK or Manhattan

Hi! My name's Lauren, I'm 25, been in New York for about a year. Currently live in Astoria, I'm mostly looking here but am also open to looking in some parts of Brooklyn (Prospect Heights, Park Slope, Clinton Hill) or maybe Manhattan. I work in a sales type role at a well-established consumer finance startup, office is moving to WTC.. I usually work 9-6:30-7ish, sometimes later, and sometimes I have to work on a weekend.

Ideally want a room in a 2-bedroom, 3-bedroom ok if there are 1.5-2 bathrooms. I would die for a balcony or roof access. I need to move before October 1, but am flexible on an exact move in date in September.

My bar for cleanliness is no food trash lying around, washing dishes within 24ish hours after you use them, cleaning up if you spill something, maybe trading off on cleaning the bathroom once a week or two. I'm not a neat freak but I don't want to encourage pests either.

I do have a boyfriend, we usually stay at his place on weeknights but I'd like to be able to have him over a few times a month. i would also like to be able to host friends occasionally, or my mom or sister if they wanted to visit 1-2 times/year. As far as who you bring home, friends you have over, etc I'm pretty chill. A heads up if someone's staying longer than overnight but I won't ask for veto power or anything.

I'd like to at least be casual friends with a roommate - we don't need to hang out outside the apartment, but I'd like to maybe cook together or share a bar cart (the dream). Please reach out if you think we might live well together!
