Hello,

My name is Melissa I am a native New Yorker originally from Queens, but a Harlemite for over a decade.

I am 38 years old and I have one cat who has been with me for 13 years. He is old and he sleeps a lot. He's not aggressive, and he does have his senior moments. His name is Bumble.

I have been living on my own almost all of my life, and I am in transition of finding a new place, but not ready to commit to an entire apartment right now, which is why a room sounds like a better option for me at the moment.

I work full time as an Office Manager on Madison Avenue. I am barely ever home except for right after work, and the weekends when I like to stay in and binge watch TV, cook, and sleep. I don't get involved with people's lives but I am always willing to lend an ear while at the same time maintaining privacy and respect. I have not lived with anyone in a really long time, so I naturally keep to myself. I don't have any kids and I am single as well. I only have a few close friends that would come visit me once in a while. I also speak Spanish. I do smoke but never indoors, I prefer the same, also friendly. I don't judge.

What I’m looking for:
An apartment share with one other person and a large room with utilities included under $1200. Also, Im open to any borough so long as it isn't too far from the subway. I’m looking to move in or around mid December but before January 1st.
