Bright top-floor 3 bedroom apartment in soho

I’m looking for two roommates to join me in a 3 bed 1 bath in Soho for October 1. The unit is on the corner of Sullivan and Spring Street. It’s on the top floor of a 5 floor walkup and has southwest exposure which means it’s extremely bright inside. The property is in one of the best neighborhoods in downtown and has an unfinished rooftop that is accessible. The lease is very flexible. It’s 3 months with the option to extend. Plus it comes furnished and is one block from Trader Joe’s and a park.

There are two rooms that fit a bed and desk and one that is a bit smaller. Total rent is 5800 and includes wifi, electric, water, and gas. I would suggest we’d split the rent 2000/2000/1800. The unit could use some updates, but all things considered it’s a good deal. I’m also looking into buying a portable washer for the unit so we wouldn’t have to go the laundromat.

I’m looking for two roommates that ideally know each other already, are social, and would be interested in potentially extending the lease after 3 months or looking for 3 bed places elsewhere in downtown after the lease ends. I’m hoping the rental market will cool off a little by this winter and we’d have the opportunity to renegotiate the lease to a lower price or to find a better deal elsewhere.

About me: I’m 26, work in software engineering, and am outgoing and active. I’m from Iowa originally, went to college in California, and have lived in many different parts of the country.
