Long term apt/room in the heart of West Village

Hi!

We’re looking for 1 roommates in a 3 bed and 1 bath in the heart of West Village. 1 of my roommates are moving out, next roommate will sign a year lease with management.

The room: fully furnished with full size mattress/bed frame, full size table, shelves, TV, new paint job, newly installed windows all for sale in great condition. NO AC but you can add. Quietest room, facing inside the building not the street.

Me - I WFH in my room, for a pet care start-up. From SoCal but been in the city for 8 years. In my mid 20s. I cook but not that much. I enjoy working out, eating yummy food in the WV, reading and like to unwind with Seinfeld. I’ll be interviewing my future roomies! We don’t have to be bestfriends/hangout but we should be able to communicate if there’s a problem. I like to talk and get to know who I’m living with :)

Julia (2nd roomie) - WFH. Works in publishing, from VA. Spends her time reading, loves to have fun on the weekend! Mid twenties, in this apt for a year now. Enjoy the library, loves to watch White Lotus and Magnolia bakery!

Costs:
$1833.33 security deposit
$1833.33 - first months rent - submit to management - late fees of $50. Paid on 1st of each month.
$31 for new apt lock

Living/house rules:
Super relaxed, obviously common-sense boundaries and cleanliness but please be mindful of regular guests/boyfriends (inform roomies of guests). The apartment is small and is our shared space. We have a group text that we use to communicate anything important, especially restocking on stuff the apartment needs. Living room is always quiet/empty, we’re usually in our rooms and would like to keep the ambiance this way on the weekdays.

What we’re looking for: Someone quiet, considerate, friendly and will contribute to cleaning/keeping the apartment clean. We take turns loading/unloading the dishwasher. Please be an adult, we do not need to ask and do not have dishes pile up. No drugs, no smoking, loud music, respectful.

You: No students. A young female working professional who’s experienced living with other roommates in NYC. We’re all friendly and we get along. Pay your shit on time. Bonus points if you love to read! The apartment is regularly quiet and we’d like to keep it that way.

Utilities (total $50-80/month):
Internet is through Spectrum, it's currently handled by Julia and has been about $40/month for each roommate. She'll venmo-request you regularly to cover it.

Gas/electricity is through ConEd and I've been making the payments and venmo-requesting people. It's about $40/month as well.

Double-door security for building, apartment is on 4th floor of a walk-up, apartment door has multiple locks
