I have a great unfurnished bedroom available in a 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment in Washington Heights. The room is REALLY big: about 13 feet by 14 feet, or 190 square feet. It can fit a couch, desk, and queen bed.
It has wood floors, 2 big windows, and a large closet. The apartment is nicely renovated in an elevator building located at 160th and Fort Washington Avenue.

There is a great kitchen, which is completely stocked for your use. There are card-operated laundry machines are in the basement.
We are just across the street from a modern two-level grocery store called Super Foodtown. It's a 2 minute walk from the 1 train at 157th street and C train at 163rd street (ideal for Columbia, City College, or Juilliard students).

I've lived in the apartment for almost 5 years, and have been in NYC for 11 years. I’m 33, work full time as a neuroscience researcher at CUNY ASRC, and am also currently studying for my Master’s degree. Because I work and study so much, it’s very important to me to keep the space clean, quiet, and tranquil. LGBTQIA+ friendly. Fully vaccinated.

Rent is $1250, deposit $1250. Utilities (wifi, electricity) are about $50-100 per person (depending on air conditioner use in summer).
