About the space
Spacious private bedroom and bathroom available in Santa Monica (near Oceanpark) 5 blocks from the beach for $1450/mo. Utilities are not included but usually only come out to about $50/mo pp. The unit is on the second floor of a two-story building. You will have your own private bathroom but the shower is Jack and Jill style so we share the shower. There is laundry on-site just not in the unit. This unit is on the older side so there is no AC or heat - but I’ve lived here for 5 years and it has never been a problem. The unit also has two parking spaces for us in the back - I usually park on the street but it's nice having those spaces as a backup option. The landlord recently installed a key-pad entry at the gate - which is nice for added security.

Your room is spacious and has large sliding mirror closet doors with a private bathroom attached to the room. The apartment is within walking distance from the beach, Main street, and so many fun west side things! I bike mostly everywhere and there is a bike rack downstairs you can lock your bike to - or you can bring it upstairs and keep it inside. This sublet can be for any duration over 6 months - but ideally, I’m looking for someone long-term.

Some of the furniture and art you see in the photos will be going so there will be some space for your stuff if you’d like! If you don’t have much no worries - I plan to get some new stuff as well.
The building only has 6 units total and all our neighbors are really nice and respectful so it’s very important to me to bring someone in that’s respectful (not a door slammer / foot-stomper hahah)!

I’m looking for a like-minded, similar age, professional female to share this lovely apartment with. Non-smoker, respectful, reliable, clean/tidy, non-smoker, friendly, practical and doesn't work from home full time. It’s important to me to have someone I can communicate openly and clearly with, and that they can do the same.
Please send me info about yourself, such as what you do for work, what you’re looking for in a roommate, where you’re coming from, and when you’re looking to move in since the move-in date is flexible. Young professional female, early 30’s, working at an Interior Design firm on the west side. I currently work from home part-time and go into the office part-time. I don’t bring the party home and I'm respectful of others space and shared spaces and I'm looking for the same in a roommate!
I love to go to the beach and go for hikes (really anything outside), I’m active and live a healthy lifestyle. I spend my free time out with friends, traveling, outdoors, or at the local ceramics studio.
