Hi guys! I am looking for someone to take the second room in this luxury 2-bedroom apartment located in Dumbo, Brooklyn! I do not currently live there — but I am hoping to move in on June 1, 2021.

About the space:
The apartment has a large kitchen and living room area, equipped with a dishwasher, washer and dryer, kitchen island, floor to ceiling windows and a private balcony. There are closets in each bedroom as well as one in the living room. The apartment also has central air, a rainfall shower and an amazing view of the Manhattan skyline. The building has a 24 hour doorman, an elevator, a gym, a rooftop lounge and so much more!

About the location:
Dumbo is one of the most beautiful spots in Brooklyn. It’s super close to the city — you can be in downtown Manhattan in less than 15 minutes on the subway. The apartment is located just minutes away from the 2,3, B, Q, R, A, C, F trains, and a major shopping center is just one block away! It’s also a 15 minute walk from the piers and a 15 minute walk from the Barclays center.

About the rent:
The net rent is $3,183 (we are getting 2.5 months free and we are allowed to pay the net monthly), which comes out to about $1590 each. Please note: I am looking for someone to sign a 15-month lease with me, so this is not short term situation.

About me:
I am 27 years old and work as an editor for a celebrity gossip site (currently working from home). I’m also a nanny so I will be out most of the day between my two jobs, you’ll hardly see me. I lived in Soho for 2 years before the pandemic hit. At that time I decided it was best to leave the city and move back home with my family in upstate New York. But now that I am vaccinated (yay!!!) I am ready to come back! I am super easy going, neat (but not obsessively clean or anything), quiet and respectful. I don’t drink or smoke but I’m not against it if you do, it’s just not my cup of tea. I like to keep to myself, I feel like I’m a very easy roommate as long as we respect each other! I never imagined myself living in Brooklyn, to be honest, but when I found this apartment I instantly fell in love with it. It’s such a beautiful apartment in such a great location, and for this price, it’s almost too good to be true.
