Large beautiful room in Crown Heights!

Looking for a roommate to take my place in my lovely three bedroom apartment in Crown Heights. At $750 per month (heat, water, and gas included, electricity and internet additional) it's a great deal!  The room will be available June 1st, or possibly a couple days early if necessary. Ideally, the new roommate would be interested in staying on to the next lease (beginning Nov. 1st), and in the meantime I would like them to take over the remaining months of this lease from me. There is also a $750 security deposit. No pets.



The Apartment: It's a very open space with hardwood floors that gets a lot of light. There is a spacious connected kitchen/living room, both fully furnished, and one bathroom. One of our favorite things about the apartment is the large outdoor balcony which opens up from the living room and looks out onto the street. It's a wonderful place to sit outside with some friends when the weather is warm. Great for BBQs. We have a wonderful landlord who is consistently responsive and helpful.

The Room: The room available is at the back of the apartment, so it’s quieter with less street noise. It's an unfurnished, fairly large room, approximately 12.5’ x 7.5’; it has 1 large window and gets great light. It also has a small built-in closet, with a shelf and space to hang clothes. I’ve lived here 13 years and would be staying if I weren’t moving out-of-state; I definitely give my seal of approval to both the apartment and the remaining roommates.



The Location: At the corner of Bergen and Nostrand, we are between the A & C and the 3 train. It's a very convenient location, about 20 minutes into Manhattan on the A train. The neighborhood is terrific, with a lot of great restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. The B65 bus stops right outside the front door, and we’re also very convenient to Bed Stuy, Fort Greene, and Clinton Hill, as well as Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Museum, and the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.  There are grocery stores, laundromats, a library, and a post office, all within a five minute walk. 



The Roommates: Two males, both young professionals. One isn’t around a lot during weekdays, the other sometimes works from home, but both tend to be pretty quiet when they are home. Their work hours are mostly 9-to-5-ish, and they’d prefer someone with a similar schedule, just because one of them has to wake up very early in the morning. They’re both friendly, clean people who respect each other’s space and are looking for someone with a similar mentality. Please get in touch and tell us a bit about yourself if this sounds like you!
