Looking for 3rd roommate for GORGEOUS apt

We are looking for a third roommate for our BedStuy apartment. We are two women of color in our 30’s who like to keep a peaceful, harmonious, and mostly quiet home. We cook, chat a lot, maintain our clean common spaces, split utilities (about $100 a month each for heat/gas, electric, internet), and work together to maximize the enjoyment of our home. Pandemic life has definitely influenced us to cozy up our space, and we try to be thoughtful and caring as we all negotiate our changing needs. One of us is a social worker, and the other works in healthcare. We have a preference to live with QTPOC and someone wanting to nest/seeking long term housing. LGBTQ+ friendly!!

Our other roommate is a beautiful, chill, sleepy, treat and brush-motivated tabby cat named Luke. He’s awesome and asks us to look for another cat lover. 😻

Our apartment is really beautiful: It has a spacious, sun-filled living room, 2 full bathrooms (so you would only be sharing with one of us), and a budding plant oasis. Your room is small-ish, but with a large built-in lofted bed platform, and though there is no window, it has a big sky light that keeps the room bright.

The move in date is May 15 or before and will be prorated, and the security deposit is $1460. The new roommate should be able to provide pay stubs or proof of employment. Short term rentals Okay.

We’re in between the Bedford-Nostrand and Myrtle-Willoughby stops on the G train. Very close to a grocery store, lovely community garden, Olympic-sized public pool, Home Depot, and Tompkins Park.
