Take up residence in an extremely chill, beautiful, and hilly woodland neighborhood. I am looking for someone laid back, clean and respectful person to share my 3bdr home with and make their own. I am flexible for either a short term or more long term housemate. I am a young professional woman in my 30s, my current roommates are in their 20s and 30s. One of them is moving to his own studio this summer, so his room will become available by September 1

I've made an effort to reduce sound transmission between rooms as much as possible so that we can have as much peace and quiet as possible. The best part about this place is that it’s location is extremely centrally located yet the house feels neatly tucked away and very private and safe. We can regularly clean all the common areas and bathroom together and occasionally hire a professional to help keep the place clean. I provide paper products, as well as all general household supplies.
In the room there is a ceiling fan and a double wide window that can slide open. I have a clean queen bed in storage available for your use if you want it. The bathroom has a shower tub with a nice view to the bamboo trees in the back. The rent is $1340 with utilities included.
The house is only a short walk to 365, CVS, Silverlake Coffee, Cha Cha Lounge and Red Lion Tavern (around 7 minutes). This neighborhood has endless beautiful streets to walk and homes to admire as well as views of the Hollywood sign at the top of the street and the mountains as well. Stroll over to the Silver Lake Reservoir in two minutes or to the Meadow Park there that has recently reopened. There are public staircases everywhere that are great for walking while gyms are not ideal right now. The historic Mattachine steps are only two blocks away. There is a Pilates studio down the street that is offering outdoor classes in their parking lot.
Plenty of patio space to drink your morning coffee or evening beer. One larger wooden deck with a couch and an organic herb garden I tend to. Off street parking is possible as there is a driveway. Street parking is easy and there are no street cleaning signs so no need to worry about parking tickets here.
On the 2nd and smaller outdoor patio, there is a brand new LG washing machine to use as well as a collection of potted plants houseplants and a seating area. If you walk around the back there is a walnut tree and also an orange tree at the front of the house. I started a small garden on the side of the house which is communal and you are welcome plant whatever you'd like if you’re into gardening.
The kitchen is fully equipped and available for your use (including my Vitamix and Kitchen-Aid standing mixer for baking). The fridge has a water dispenser as well as an ice maker. I also just installed in our kitchen sink a new reverse-osmosis filtration system with a remineralizer for clean drinking water.
With regards to COVID-19, I've been carefully abiding by the public health recommendations and have no symptoms. I get tested regularly and am taking all precautions. Both of us are vaccinated.
