First Bedroom

This is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment located 5 minutes away from the Roosevelt Ave ? Jackson Heights / 74th St ? Broadway subway station. There?s 5 train lines that run through this station (E F M R 7 trains). If you take the express train, it?s about 20 minutes to Midtown / Time Square / Bryant Park.

The apartment is in a newly built house with a mail/shoe room upon entrance. Everything looks renovated. Pin pad entry. There's also FREE laundry in the building!

- First room is slightly smaller - $1050/mo + utilities
Although the first bedroom is smaller than the other room, it?s cozy and still spacious enough to fit a queen size bed. Even with the queen size bed, there?s still plenty of space for other furniture like a desk and dresser. The closet is also wide and has enough room. AC unit included.

- Second room is bigger - $1150/mo + utilities
This bedroom is very large and has 3 large closets. You can fit a queen size bed and have other furniture as well (including a TV). There are 3 windows and this room gets the most natural sunlight. I definitely recommend this room if you need a lot of personal space and like a lot of natural sunlight for your well-being. AC unit included.

- Third room is occupied by me and I have my own bathroom
Whoever are in these two rooms will share a full bathroom.

THE AREA: It's a quiet house and neighborhood on a residential street but close to the subway station, restaurants, grocery stores, gym etc. If you?re a foodie, the neighborhood also has amazing food options (cheap too). We live in the most diverse neighborhood in the world ? you can find Thai, Chinese, Nepalese, Tibetan, Colombian, Brazilian food and more all within 5-10 minute walking distance! I'm an Asian-American young professional working at a nonprofit/public media company. I'm looking for roommates who can pay rent and the bills on time. They are also communicative, friendly and cooperative. They also have to be diligent about cleaning up after themselves when using the kitchen and other common spaces. They are considerate, respectful of others and are willing to resolve issues together. Being kind and understanding is important in this environment.
