Santa Monica Dreamhouse

Hi!

We're Lauren (33, Filmmaker) and Jess (33, Social Worker) and we have a room available in our fabulous apartment in Santa Monica. When our current roommate told us she was going to move to be closer to a new job, we considered moving but realized we LOVE our apartment (Lauren has lived here for almost 10 years!), so we're turning to the internets to help us find a fabulous new roommate.

About us: pre-Covid, we were typically super busy humans between work/friends/hobbies, but genuinely like to spend time together too. In this post-Covidacalypse world, we've been a great quaranTeam, and are managing via walks in our fun neighborhood, home workouts, netflix binges, spending time on the patio with boxes of wine... you know, the usual. ???? We?re super serious about the social distancing these days - and we're currently working from home until our offices open back up. We both love plants, cooking, popcorn nights, true crime, and local concerts and events (when those are a possibility.) Times are strange, but would love a likeminded human to share the space with now, and as things return to normal!

About the space: Pics attached! Rent is $1225 (deposit is same!) and near all the metro/bars/shopping you could want, without being in the tourist center of town (I walk to the beach most weekends!) Room is private, 10x12, unfurnished But perfect for a queen bed, with a big closet and shared bathroom. Common area, outdoor space, and kitchen are furnished with everything you might need (although we would love for you to help us inject your style into the place, too!) No couples/pets (even though I want a pup so badly! Landlord says no and we?re both pretttttty allergic to cats anyway, so here we are. Womp.)
