The room has a window air conditioner (wonderful radiator heat in the winter) and the bedroom is off the large living room and next to a large updated bathroom with a full bath. The room gets the morning sunrise. You have one large closet outside of the bedroom. The building has multiple units and the apartment is located on the third floor of a walk up, no elevator. The building is very quiet, sometimes there is street noise. No smoking. The apartment is large and you don't see many like this anymore.

This apartment is 1/2 block away from Prospect Park, 1 block from B/Q train at Church ave., 1/2 block from corner grocery, 1/2 block from laundry, 40 minutes to Midtown on the B/Q train. I love nature (green and birds) and wanted to be close to the park. I have lived here happily for over four years. I have always felt safe and happy. It is residential and in a walkable, diverse neighborhood.

The room is half of what I pay in rent and utilities.

*With the pandemic, I wear a mask always, wash my hands, live healthy and I regularly clean surfaces, food I bring home and the apartment. I am in my forties and I spend spare time at my art studio/practice one mile from the apartment. I am busy working in midtown full time, but spend weekend mornings at the studio or sleeping, sometimes relaxing. I have two very friendly cats who mostly stay in my room or the living room and the litter box and their food dishes are in my room. I am quiet, mellow, clean, open-minded, love to laugh, healthy and respectful. I have plants in every window that thrive. Aside from my creative practice, I regularly attend museums and art galleries, love coffee and tea, reading, 2x day meditation practice, working out, cleaning, making kombucha, and trying-to-live a balanced life. I strive to cultivate peace and mindfulness within myself and eliminate stress. I like to do my dishes, vacuum and keep a clean space.
