One medium ($1000) sized room available on the first floor of a five story building. The apartment has two floors. The first floor has the kitchen, dining area, living room (with sliding doors), bathroom, and two bedrooms. The second floor is a downstairs basement accessible only to the roommates that live here already. We are a couple and are writing this ad. Here's a little about ourselves and what we are looking for in a roommate!

Our names are Stephen and Jennifer. We?re very laid back, respectful and considerate people, both 26 years old. Jen is a tattoo artist and Stephen works in the music/ bar industry. We've both lived in this apartment for 3 years. We enjoy playing video games, watching Netflix, having small gatherings with our friends and an occasional glass of wine. We also enjoy going out for drinks and exploring the neighborhood for cool new finds which you are of course welcome to join us on!

We're looking for two mature, clean, respectful and quiet adults that aren?t messy and don?t have a lot of common area belongings. The living room and dining area will be furnished with a dining table with 4 chairs, tv with stand, coffee table and couch. We're trying to maintain a minimalist space in the common areas so there won't be much room for additional furnishings. We want to live with chill, friendly people that appreciate a simplistic aesthetic and plants as well as wanting to make this place feel inviting and like a home. If you would like to add furniture/ decor, you are welcome to as long as all roommates agree to it.

As far as cleanliness goes, we are looking for someone who cleans up after themselves as often as they can and in a timely manner since the shower and kitchen areas are shared. The shower is shared between four people but since we have a half bathroom downstairs, you will only share the toilet and sink with one other person. Also, the fridge isn't huge so the space may not be ideal for those who cook as a hobby. But if you can manage the amount of groceries you buy then it shouldn't be a problem!

The pictures of the common areas are not an accurate representation of what the apartment will look like upon you moving in. One of the current roommates is in the process of moving out so there is a bit of clutter at the moment. The kitchen island, shelving units in the kitchen as well as everything in the living room besides the plants, tv and couch belong to the roommate so that stuff will not be there and will be replaced. There are also some finishing touches that need to be painted white to match the rest of the apartment such as the door frames and the sliding doors for the living room.
