Roommate wanted to share Hyde Park/Kenwood townhouse with professional woman (age 35) and two cats.

Room is good size (fits queen sized bed and dresser, with space to spare) with closet and cable hookup and floor-to-ceiling window. Option to share upstairs full bathroom or use full bathroom in basement; half-bath on main floor.

Townhouse includes large eat-in kitchen, large living room, basement den, small fenced yard, small garden plot, plenty of storage, and one parking space (additional parking on street). Free laundry in basement. Walking distance to #6 and #28 bus and Metra Electric line to downtown, as well as shopping center, Planet Fitness gym, Whole Foods, 53rd Street, and more.

$1050/month, plus 1/2 share of utilities (Gas heat, electricity, internet, and security system, typically runs about $165/month). Security deposit required.

Ideal roommate: Respectful, responsible, cooperative, and clean. Prefer female who is quiet but friendly.

Additional pets discouraged, as one of the current cats is touchy about new animals - will consider on case-by-case basis and subject to a trial meeting.
