I am looking for someone to take over a spacious bedroom in my Williamsburg apartment for Feb 1, 2021. Currently, all of the walls are painted white. Images are shown to give a better sense of what can fit inside. Open to Feb 15 move in date as well. It’s a short walk to the Hewes Station(5 min walk) off the J, M, Z train line as well as to the Broadway Station G Train (7 min walk) as well as the Lorimer L/ Metropolitan G Train stop (10 min walk). The location is incredibly convenient and accessible to lower Manhattan with the Williamsburg bridge being a nice stroll away. There are various laundry, bar, and restaurant options throughout the neighborhood. 

You would be living with one female (me) who is a footwear designer + consultant as well as freelance Covid19 Compliance Officer. I am looking for someone who is relaxed, clean, and responsible. I am social, but I don’t bring the party home. Especially not during our current pandemic. I am looking for someone who understands the severity of Covid19 and is looking for the same in a safe housing situation.

I have lived in this cozy building for the majority of my time in NYC (15 years) and I can confidently say the room is unique for it’s value - between price, size, features, and neighborhood location. The room can hold a lot - and is not mattress size restrictive at all. Dimensions are 10 x 12 ft. including the roughly 30 x 36 inch closet. The room is on the second floor of a three floor building with two large windows facing the street. There is also a built in closet in the room. The kitchen and living room are connected while each room in this two bedroom are located on each end of the apartment.

Rent is $950 a month not including utilities ( gas, electricity, high speed internet). First month and a $950 deposit is required to move in. 

The room is available 2/1. Open to 2/15 move in as well. I prefer a longer term tenant but am open to shorter term roommates as well. Unfortunately, no pets or couples. I don’t mind smoking as long as it’s done outside of the common areas. Looking forward to hearing from you!
