Have a whole apartment to yourself for the price of renting a room :)

Your bedroom is 13x13, freshly plastered and painted, with two large windows and a big closet. High ceilings and wood floors. Unfurnished, though I could provide a few furniture pieces if you need them.

I'll be using the smaller bedroom as storage while I'm away.

Furnished bathroom, kitchen, and living room, with an amazing laundry facility in the building. It's a coop, so everyone in the building owns their apartment. This makes for a quiet and well-cared-for environment. Please respect that by not having loud parties or smoking in the building or within 25 feet of the building.

If you are a short-term renter, we may only meet a couple of times, but if you choose to stay longer, we may be sharing the space off and on. I'm a college theatre professor and licensed NYC tour guide. Chill and friendly! I've had several roommates in this apartment, all of whom have loved the space. I enjoy having a peaceful place to recharge in the city. I also have two very friendly cats who may return to the apartment with me in the summer.

If you like music, there are tons of instruments here to play around with!

Couples are welcome; rent is $1250/month in that case.
