Roomie Needed
Hey future roomie, feel free to request a chat. I will love to answer any questions. The response time is quick.
I have 1 private room to rent in my home in Flushing, NYC. It?s a quiet area with plenty of street parking, so if you have a car, you can typically find parking right in front. If not, we have public transportation and local shops nearby as well. The room has a large closet and is furnished with a full size bed, dresser, and there are plans for a fan and mini fridge. Utilities are provided. Wi-Fi can be included for an additional charge per month. My new roommate will have access to some common areas in my home: dining room, kitchen and bathroom. Please be aware that my home has a pet cat. Ideally, I?m looking for someone to stay at least six months who is a nonsmoker, quiet, and respectful. They must be pet friendly. The room needs to remain clean, neat, and minimalistic. I also expect assistance with upkeep around the common rooms. If this sounds like it suits you, contact me. Thanks.
Many people visit Flushing for sports; it?s where you?ll find Citi Field (home of baseball?s Mets) and the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center (site of late summer?s US Open Tennis Championships). There?s also the gorgeous Flushing Meadows Corona Park. Stroll by the iconic Unisphere?built for the 1964 World?s Fair?and then get some Asian food in the neighborhood proper. Flushing?s large Chinese population surpassed that of Manhattan?s Chinatown years ago, and overall two-thirds of Flushing residents were born outside of the United States. Explore the area?s shops for unusual food items, ancient herbal remedies and rare Japanese comic books. The neighborhood also happens to be home to some of the City's best attractions, including world-class sports venues, lush gardens and performance spaces. So hop on the 7 subway train to the Flushing/Main St. stop for dinner or make a day trip out of touring the various museums; you'll find that Flushing's offerings are as diverse as its residents.
