Master BR/private bath with parking - La Brea
Hello everyone! My name is Sam, and I have an amazing master bedroom for rent in the Miracle Mile / La Brea / Midtown area.
The MASTER BEDROOM, with its own private bathroom, and full wall mirror is in a spacious 2BR apartment. The rent for the room is a grandfathered deal for the area (lease was handed down over 10 years) at $1400/month plus $100/mo. average utilities (gas, LADWP, and Spectrum hi-speed Wi-Fi).
Apartment building features:
- Reserved parking spot in gated garage.
- Rooftop wading pool and Jacuzzi.
- Coin/Phone App laundry on premises.
- Small, basic gym with treadmill.
- Elevators (2)
- Trash chute on every floor.
Apartment Unit features:
- Full kitchen with dishwasher and sink disposal.
- Mirrored workout space.
- Balcony with morning sunlight.
- Gas Fireplace for ambiance.
- Central heating and A/C.
- Complimentary streaming services via Roku streaming for living room and bedroom. (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Disney +, and more...).
Located in a safe nook of Mid-Town, a Ralph’s, Trader Joe’s, and CVS are literally across the street, and we are within walking distance of The Grove/Farmer’s Market, LACMA, Whole Foods, 99 Cent Store, Starbucks and Wilshire Blvd. nightlife. Minutes away from both Hollywood and K-Town, and convenient public transportation if needed.
As for me - I am a 44 year old professional film editor, wotking M-F 9am-7pm-ish. I am considerate, clean, and highly respectful of boundaries, as well as personal time, space, and energy. I don’t party, drink, or smoke tobacco, but I do vape.
I have what most everyone agrees is the cutest little service dog that is smart, well trained, and, most importantly, loves to snuggle. Weighing in at 20 lbs, he is a Tibetan spaniel / papillon mix. He does come to work with me.
I'm looking for a mature, employed full time out-of-the-house adult with work, family, friend references. You are a mature, open-minded, mutually considerate, emotionally independent individual, that can communicate respectfully and kindly. You are clean and hygienic, hard drug and drama free, financially responsible, and strive to keep drama low key in our peaceful home. We would both strive to keep the common areas neat and presentable, and cooking appliances and utensils clean and ready for use by one another. I am open to getting a cleaning service once a month. I do prefer a non- tobacco smoker
Bottom line - I don’t want to live with a teenager. I’d like for both of us to see our home as an escape from the world where we can recenter and decompress peacefully and symbiotically and safely.
Sorry, no sharing the room or subletting. No students looking for semester housing. Service dogs ok with management approval.
The space will be available on December 1st, $1400/mo., $100 average utilities and a $1400 deposit. Rent will be pro-rated on your move-in date.
There will be a credit check run by the apartment management at a $30 fee, just as a heads up.
Don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions. Thanks for reading, and happy hunting!
With gratitude,
Sam
