Studio room with separate entrance and kitchen

I am buying a house in the Castlemont area of Oakland and I am looking to rent out the downstairs bonus room, which I am converting to a studio apartment with a kitchenette (to be installed before you move in but not pictured). You would park in the garage (private parking!) and have a separate entrance. There are 2 incredible unfinished bonus rooms attached to the studio for storage, chill space- use your imagination! Half bath in the studio and full bath right up a short flight of stairs. Shower upstairs will be used only by you. All utilities included including high speed internet. Access to washer dryer. Tons of light and incredible amounts of storage. Area is one of the safest in all of Alameda county, and there are lots of great hikes nearby .

I have a gorgeous cat with a big personality, and a beautiful dog who may be the sweetest ever. Animal lovers preferred, although the pets will not have access to the your part of the house. I?m a teacher who will be commuting to San Jose for work on weekdays, so I am looking for a quiet and peaceful tenant who will respect my early wake up time. Since I am a female I do prefer females, but an awesome male who?s great with animals would be great too. I?m an easy going person who loves people, music, traveling, and learning/exploring. My friends are my family and I have a wonderful community. I don?t consider this much of a ?roommate? situation since there won?t be many shared quarters, but as far as roommates go I?m pretty chill. That said, as a first time home buyer I?ll need someone who?s responsible and clean so the situation isn?t stressful. It?s a pretty sweet deal and that?s because I want a happy person who will make home ownership easier and more affordable. I?m excited to meet you!
