Upper West Side Room Rental (Short-Term)

Hi everyone. I'm renting my room temporarily while I travel back home to Miami for two months. The apartment is located on the corner of Amsterdam and 109th St. and its available from late September through November 23 (exact days are negotiable). The room comes furnished with a queen-sized bed, plastic drawers (night table) and a bookshelf. There is also a closet area (with no closet doors).

The apartment has two bedrooms and you would be sharing it with my roommate, an openminded and drama-free gay professional male and his 19-year old adorable black cat. The room advertised (my room) is right next to the entrance of the apartment and bathroom. Also, both bedrooms are conveniently located at opposite ends of the apartment.

The home is located less than 2 blocks away from the 1 train and 3 blocks away from the A, B, and the C trains. Central Park and Columbia University are within walking distance. Columbus Circle is 10 to 15 minutes on train and Time Square is 15 - 20 minutes. Morningside Heights is a lively culturally-diverse neighborhood with plenty of options for food and fun. The Westside Market and Duane Read Pharmacy which are both open 24 hours are 2 blocks away from the apartment and there are several laundromats within a 2-3 minute walk.

We are looking for a roommate who is able to pay their share of the rent on time, clean and LGBTQ friendly.

Other Notes:

- With the exception of the furniture mentioned, the room will be completely emptied for your convenience.

- There is an AC (not central) inside of the room. You are welcome to use it but please make it a point to turn it off whenever you leave the apartment.

- Move-In days are flexible.

8 weeks maximum /$2240 with utilities included
7 weeks minimum/ $ 1960 with utilities included
