Large, south-facing furnished room in 3-bedroom apartment in lovely Art Deco building in Marble Hill, just north of Inwood and South of Riverdale and Yonkers. A block and a half from the 1 train at 225; Metro North Harlem line to Grand Central/Poughkeepsie just out the basement door. Looking for hard-working, serious and quiet professional, which is what we are. We are friendly but most of our socializing takes place outside the apartment. This is an oasis for someone who needs quiet after work. If you like to party, great, but not here - and please no at-home work.

Must Love Dogs - there is an adorable small one in residence and other small dogs are boarded here on a regular basis as part of a business. Two roommates: one male, salesman, and one female, writer and real estate broker. The apartment could not be more convenient to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia University, Fordham, Manhattan School of Music, Montefiore, Bank Street School, Harlem/Washington Heights, Yonkers/Riverdale. At least five grocery stores nearby and many parks also close. , Inwood and Kingsbridge restaurants and shopping (farmers market in Inwood on Saturday), amazing community within the building (we all help each other and know each other). .

Available June 15 or July 1. At least one landlord or roommate reference required. Also proof of job/income. We so look forward to welcoming a friendly, mature and dog-loving person to our little community.
