Location: The apartment is on a tree-lined block across from a large community garden, dog run, and park. It's centrally located in a hip area of Bed Stuy. Lots of cafes, bars, and a decent amount of restaurants all within a short walk. G train is 2.5 blocks away (5-7 min walk) and the A/C train a bit further (15-20 min walk).?

Interior: Second floor walk-up, quite large with dedicated living and dining room space. Kitchen has a good amount of counter space and cabinets. I own a lot of appliances, so if you're into cooking, you're set. Also, coffee obsessed, so there's four different ways you can brew your joe.?
Lots of windows - landlord recently had them upgraded to double pane, so sound reducing and insulated. Good airflow. Also exterior of the building was recently redone.

There is one reasonably large bathroom with tub/shower.

We also have an office space centrally located that is used as a workout room, storage space, and guest bedroom (if friends come through town- this is rare and would be consulted with you in advance). It's not that large, but gets the job done. If you need extra storage space, we can most likely make some in there for you.?

Your bedroom: 8' x 11' with a two door sliding closet and additional overhead storage space. The room best fits a full, although a queen has been in there before, but full leaves ample room for furniture. Easily fits a desk, book shelf, or dresser. One large window. High ceilings. **Please note - images show same bedroom empty and with two different set ups from previous roommates to give you a better idea of the space**

The building only has one apartment per floor, so it's reasonably quiet and everyone knows each other. Landlord lives on the ground floor and is both friendly and helpful in the event that things need to be fixed (doesn't happen much, but always quickly repaired when it does).

About us: Second room is occupied by myself and my fiance. We are two easy going and friendly professionals. I work in event planning and he works in the tech industry. We're low key and are looking for the same in a roommate. We generally don't bring the party home, although small dinner parties or game nights happen once in a rare while. We like the household to be more of a place to relax and unwind. We're respectful of space, but also are social, so if you want to hang, we're here. Generally out of the house on weekends, though when we are home, we're either cleaning, cooking, reading, gaming, playing records, or catching up on a tv series. We're pretty routine on evenings - when home from work, we prep some dinner and unwind in the living-room. Happy to share the space though.

You: are a professional, that keeps tidy (at least in the public spaces and especially dishes), likes to pitch in when needed for cleaning, doesn't struggle to meet monthly bills, and doesn't bring the party home. You're more than welcome to have guests as long as they're respectful of the space. Likes to socialize or keep to yourself.?

Rules: You can't smoke in the apartment & you must be on board with recycling (landlord's strict rules).

Utilities not included in the rent are: electric, gas, and internet. Heat and hot water are included in the rent. Utilities are generally $40-60 in the winter and $70-90 in the summer (window AC units) per person.?

Rent is $875 + utilities.
