Large bedroom in duplex with back deck

We are two professional 32 year olds (both female) who share a large three bedroom apartment right by Kaufman Astoria Studios. Our third housemate and his cat are leaving. The room for rent is available as early as December 15th and as late as January 15th. Rent will be pro-rated depending on when you move in. No couples & no pets. The room for rent is $1,040 a month and currently there is no lease so the agreement is month to month. Utilities are not included but they are usually $100 bucks a month. Living room/dining room furniture is welcomed.

The apartment is huge! Two levels. First level has living room, kitchen, dining room, one bathroom, one bedroom and an outside deck (pictured). 2nd level has 2 more bedrooms and a shared bathroom. The room for rent is on the second level. There is a laundromat 2 blocks away and 2 supermarkets within a 5 minutes' walk from the apartment. The apartment is a 6 minute walk from the Broadway stop on the N/W and a 4 minute walk from the Steinway stop on R/M train.

We are looking for someone who has stable income, outgoing, doesn't bring the party home, clean, and respectful of shared space. We are looking for someone who is planning on staying at least 9 months in the apartment. When responding to the ad, please tell us a little bit about yourself (interests, occupation).
