Large Apt. Top Floor. Quiet Room. By the River.

Hello All!!

I have a spacious apartment, on the top floor (roof access), that overlooks Riverside Park, with views of both the Hudson and GWB. I work remotely, a couple of days a week, so I can show you the apartment/room on most days. It’s a 12 x 7.5, furnished, move-in ready, sunny/calm bedroom with a view of the river/GWB. It has a full-size bed, air conditioner, radiator, bookshelf, table, and a closet, preferably for an active/fit guy. It’s ideal for students, Columbia Presbyterian employees (nearby), and anyone who wants quick access to Midtown. (15-20mins). No fee/deposit, and all utilities are included. It can be rearranged, to meet your particular preferences. The pictures show what previous roommates did with the room. We are a very friendly household. I’m pretty engaging, whereas, my roommate Connor, is quiet, but exceptional!! Ultimately, I prefer someone who is active (I am!!) and engaging as well. Preferably no home bodies. Have a life!
Amenities in my three bedroom apartment include cable, Netflix, Hulu, WiFi, bath/paper towels, bathroom tissue, bedding, laundry pick-up/drop-off, hand/dish soap, hand lotion (bathroom), rooftop access, doorman, and full-access to the apartment. The kitchen has everything you’ll need, and if it doesn’t, I’ll consider getting it. The marble bathroom has a shower that you won't want to leave. The apartment is fully maintained, so you will only need to be responsible for your room, and cleaning up after yourself. No general cleaning or taking out the garbage. It’s taken care of. There's tons of room and it's peaceful and quiet enough that you'll forget that you live in the city!
The neighborhood has several bars, restaurants, coffee houses, and grocery stores within a couple of blocks, and a very youthful, athletic, multicultural, friendly presence. For you athletes and dog lovers, Riverside Park is just outside the front door, and Riverbank State Park has tennis/basketball/handball/volleyball courts, swimming pools, and soccer/baseball fields. There is also a gym, just a few blocks away. The neighborhood is VERY active. The 1 train is five blocks away, Columbia is two stops, Columbia Presbyterian Hospital is two stops, and Times Square is 15-20 mins by train. The ABCD trains are about seven short blocks away.
I am a business professional/contractor/artist who travels often and I literally get paid to party, most weekends, so when I get home, I go straight to bed! Lol!! I enjoy hiking, weightlifting, boxing, concerts, UFC, plants, Netflix, fishing, sports, brunch, HGTV, rooftops, concerts, CNBC, road trips (you’re welcome to join!), some TV, fine dining, movies/Bway shows, plays, and hanging out with my amazing friends! I’m very friendly and always have great ears, when you need them. My roommate is a laid back, NYU graduate working on his second Masters. He’s exceptionally smart!
I prefer a guy who has very little, and will complement the household. Overnight guests (within reason)/friends/family are totally cool, as long as they are respectful of the apartment and household.
