Available Aug. 1, 2018: $950/mo. + 1/2 utilities (water, gas and electric). One month's deposit required. ROOMMATE WANTED: One (1) 28 year old or older responsible, trustworthy, friendly, mature, clean, quiet, respectful, nice roommate wanted to share 2000+ sq. ft. comfortable HOUSE with one (very nice) female (me). (So there would be just you and me in the house - no other roommates.) Any gender/sexual orientation/race/religion welcome. Private fully furnished bedroom (which is on the opposite side of the house from my bedroom), double bed (brand new mattress), attached private bathroom with shower, double closet, large computer desk, chair, large dresser and night table, large bookcase (5 shelves), new drapes in both bedroom and bathroom. Carpeted bedroom; bathroom has new rugs/mats. Your bathroom has a large cabinet - plenty of space to store things. Bedroom is 13' x 11'. Room to park in driveway (without having to tandem park). Can use all appliances, dishes, pots, bedding, towels, etc. Quiet neighborhood/street, no alley, not on a main street. Total access to entire house except my bedroom. You won't be just renting a room and private bathroom, you'll be sharing an entire big house (with a pretty nice person who would like to be friends if you're amenable!) No drugs, drinking, pot, firearms, parties or pets allowed. Cigarette smoking allowed OUTSIDE house only. No serial killers, rapists or thieves, please! Lease will be month to month though I prefer long term (as long as we're compatible!). Rooms in house: very large living room, family room, kitchen with plenty of counter space, kitchen dining area, newly renovated gorgeous guest bathroom with tub, guest bedroom (and my bedroom has its own bathroom (makes 3 bathrooms total in house)). Amenities: Central A/C and heat, front yard, patio in back (patio table, chairs, chaise lounges, gas bbq), 55" Satellite TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime (in Family room), Wi-Fi, Dishwasher, Microwave, Ice maker; filtered water and ice without opening freezer door, Large capacity brand new washer and dryer inside house, Possible extra storage space in garage, if needed, Fireplace, Additional refrigerator in garage, Within walking distance to public transportation, Nearby university and college (CSUN - California State University Northridge & Pierce College). New double pane windows throughout entire house really keep noise out (if they're closed of course!) Actually, it's not noisy often at all on my street. It's a really nice house (comfortable, inviting, neat) and nice neighborhood. (Nothing really brand new inside [except for the above mentioned items], but nice and comfortable.) The outside of the house has had a lot of 'renovation' the last few years (paint, new roof, new front door, solar panels). There are no pets here, but for 30 years there were 2 or 3 cats until this past Thanskgiving. All your bedding has been washed, including the comforter. I smoke cigarettes (for now, anyway), but outside only. I try to be polite and will put perfume on if you want when I come in. Cleaning of common areas will be shared. I hardly ever have company and would prefer it if you could keep your guests down to 1 or 2 (quiet guests) at a time, though we can talk about that. Your having overnight guests will need to be approved beforehand. Of course there's nothing we can't talk about and possibly compromise on. I am very nice, trustworthy, polite, considerate, efficient, friendly, easygoing, helpful and hope that you would be the same! I hate arguing and hope that we would never have a reason to. I'm sure we can solve any conflicts by talking it out. I'm mature and respectful. I'm not a "party" person - I like peace and quiet and friendly conversation. I craft sometimes and I like sci-fi.
