Apartment:
1 bedroom available in a 3BR apartment in North Park Slope starting August 11; the room can fit a queen bed and additional furniture (dresser, work/study desk etc.); rent is $1150. The room is furnished (includes bed & mattress, dresser, chest of drawers and AC), but its up to you whether you want to keep the furniture or get rid of it.
The apartment has a decent sized living room and kitchen space and an adequately sized bathroom
It is a newly furnished apartment, with hardwood floors and gets plenty of sunlight

Location and Transportation:
The location is amazing and very close to everything necessary - right when you step out of the building you have restaurants, bars, cafes, grocery stores, laundromats, pharmacies etc. within a 2 block radius; Prospect park is around 10 min away
Incredibly convenient in terms of transportation: Union Street (R) train is a few minutes walk, while Bergen Street (2, 3) and Atlantic Barclays (B, D, N, Q, R, 2, 3, 4, 5, LIRR) are both 10 min away; Carroll Street (F, G) is around 15 min away. Several bus lines (I'm not very familiar with them), are also close by.

Overall, during the pandemic, the nieghborhood was relatively lively (given the situation), and the overall cases were low. Most people respected social distancing and wore masks.

About us:
I'm a 32 year old guy from New Delhi, India who has lived in the New York area for 9 years, and work as a consultant in the biopharma industry. In normat times, I have the usual work schedule, although I work from home once in a while and travel quite often for work.
The other roommate is 30 and is originally from New York; she works at a restaurant in the city and works long hours during the week, including the weekend.

I am currently working from home (due to COVID-19), while my roommate is looking for another job.

About you:
I'm ideally looking for individuals (either male or female) who are social and friendly and would take care of the apartment (in terms of cleanliness) and be responsible with paying rent and utilities on time.
We prefer to maintain a positive environment in the apartment; young professionals/students are preferred; however, if you feel that you would be a good fit regardless, please reach out.

To move in, it would be first month's rent ($1150) and security deposit ($1150), so a total of $2300.
