I'm a laid-back bookworm searching for a roommate to share my Cobble Hill two-bedroom apartment. A Florida native, I moved to the neighborhood just over four years ago after spending several years in Chicago and more than a year living out of a backpack in Central
America.

Until recently, I shared my Brooklyn apartment with a friend whose work shipped him off to Alaska! This has left me with an available bedroom for anyone looking for new digs. It's a great opportunity to live in one of the city's best hoods in BK with a Trader Joe just two blocks away, tons of coffee shops, restaurants and bars on Smith, Atlantic and Court Street to keep any foodie busy!

You will love the spacious closet, plus the two large built-in storage spaces above the closet. The dilapted sunlight, lush greenery and chirping birds out your large floor-to-ceiling windows will make it hard to leave your bed for work - the view is that nice! The room fits a queen-size bed comfortably with plenty of space for your desk or a comfy armchair and/or bookcase, which previous roommates have had in there.

Main train is a happy walk two blocks down to the Bergen F/G stop, which is only two stops into Manhattan.

A little about me: I'm a single young professional who works at an engineering school for a major university and also a part-time grad student working towards a MS in Organizational Behavior.

I'm a low-key, more introvert personality type, neat and clean especially about common spaces, respectful and polite. Looking for the same chilled, low-key personality, where home is more a sanctuary than the Playboy mansion. No drugs of any kind, non-smoker preferred.

Looking for someone who will be responsible with rent, personable, and who has zero problems cleaning up after themselves. I know you'll agree that a clean bathroom is a must!

Rent is $1375 per month. The average cost of $150 per month covers all bills, (electric, gas, internet, cleaning service). The security deposit is $1375 due at signing.
