PREFERENCES
I?m looking for a someone financially stable and employed (but not working from home).
Someone quiet and low key is preferred because this is a tranquil apartment for relaxing. It?s not for partying, out of town guests, frequent overnight guests, etc.
The room is a single so it is not appropriate for couples or people with children.
The prospective renter must clean up after themselves and generally be a respectful and responsible person. That includes paying the rent on time without reminders. In addition, prospective renters must be 100% pet friendly.

ABOUT ME
I am a college educated professional with a job in publishing. I rent an art studio in the neighborhood where I go on my off hours. I?m a creative and laid-back person who is polite, thoughtful and responsible.
I am friendly and easy going, but I am VERY FIRM about my preferences, rental requirements and screening procedures. This essential for maintaining a safe and calm environment.

RENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Conversations through the messaging system and a phone interview are required before viewing the apartment. It?s not a real estate open house or Airbnb rental. For practical and safety reasons, I need to screen visitors in advance.
Prospective renters must contact me directly. I cannot communicate with spouses/partners/family members, etc.
For consideration to move in, a copy of ID, proof of employment and a reference are required.
First month?s rent and one month security deposit are due before move in. Total payment = $1,800.00.
The renter will not be added to lease. This rental term is month to month.
