I'm a 30-year old professional moving to NYC for a job in local government, looking for a place around 1,600 and under starting in late-October to early November. I'm coming from 2 years working in DC, have lived in shared houses since graduating college with a rotating cast of roommates, and am used to living with others and keeping public spaces clean.

In terms of personality, I'm easygoing, self-deprecating, and generally prefer to get out of the house in my spare time. I like food-venturing, karaoke, biking, going to events with friends, and happy hours. I care about keeping public spaces generally clean, especially the kitchen (e. g., messy dishes don't spend a lot of time in the sink, people contribute to shared responsibilities). I'll be going into the office four days a week, working 9-5 hours, and don't require much space when teleworking. I'll be staying with family in Westchester when I first move, so I have some flexibility around lease start-dates.
