Gorgeous River View and Cool People

Hi, We have a furnished room available and it runs at $517 per month. I'm TJ and the "we" refers to me and my other roommate, George. We're both native New Yorkers and artists as well (He's a professional actor; I'm a freelance writer with a day job). The place is in Staten Island and is about a 6 minute walk to the SI ferry terminal. The neighborhood is relatively quiet-there's a police station two blocks away- and we live above a small convenience store and the view is awesome, right across from the Hudson River.
The room is 8 by 11, spacious and has a closet. You can add your own furniture or remove something if you want. The kitchen is small, but works just fine and there's a shared bathroom. Utilities (Electric, Internet & Gas) are separate from rent and add up to $68 per month. No cable, though I have Netflix and am willing to share.
We're both laid back, friendly and really respect others' moods, so if you're having a bad day, we'll understand. Also, we genuinely like people, so awesome discussions can be had as well. Overnight guests are cool, but just give us a heads up.

Addendum (non-negotiable!): Because of the size of apartment and previous experience, I cannot rent to couples, sorry. Rent AND security deposit ($517+$517=$1034) is needed to move in. Steady employment is a must.
