Looking for a roommate to rent one of two large bedrooms in our new apartment on W 49th Street between 9th and 10th Ave. Lease begins 1/1/17.

The apartment:
-Entire second floor of a well-maintained pre-war building with only three units
-Large, insulated windows throughout with southern, western and eastern exposure (e. g. tons of sunlight)
-Huge living space with decorate fireplace
-New birch flooring throughout
-Modern bathroom (shared among the three roommates in the apartment)
-Updated eat-in kitchen with stainless steel appliances and dishwasher

The area (Hell's Kitchen)
-Walking distance to midtown, Central Park, the Hudson, and all the bars/restaurants/nightlife around 9th Avenue, but slightly removed from it all on a quiet side street
-Close to numerous subway lines (ABCDENRSW1237) and highly accessible from anywhere in the city

Who we are:
-Management consulting professional, late 20s, gay man
-Financial services and nonprofit professional, mid 20s, straight woman

We are both considerate, clean, and courteous roommates looking for the same. Ideally we could all get along but respect each other's space. Seeking a roommate around our age and willing to sign a sublease agreement with us. Credit check and employment verification required by the landlord.
