My roommate recently moved out of my apartment on W37th Street. I'm looking to resign the lease with a new male roommate (preferably gay, but not required). I'm an ivy league educated consulting professional looking to live with another professional (preferably one that enjoys going out on the weekends once in a while).
The building includes several amenities: doorman, laundry in basement, dry cleaning/laundry drop-off, ATM, rooftop terrace, gym. The building allows pets if you have one. The apartment is a converted 1-bedroom. The smaller room is $1650 and the full bedroom is $1950.
To sign the lease, the landlord requires a bank statement and previous tax return. The landlord also requires that you make 45x the rent.
