$1,325 for bedroom in 3 bed / 1.5 bath duplex apt

We have a room available starting May 1st in a 3 bedroom duplex apartment with 1. 5 baths and a private patio. The bedroom is sizable and currently contains a queen-sized bed, nightstand and a large dresser. Each room contains a built-in AC/heating unit with individual temperature controls. Located on the first floor are all three of the bedrooms, the kitchen with modern stainless steel appliances and the full bathroom. On the basement floor, we have a very large common room that leads out to the private patio as well as the additional half bathroom.

The building is a luxury elevator high rise located within walking distance to both Hell's Kitchen and Chelsea. A "virtual doorman" system is installed in each apartment to allow you to screen visitors and the building manager/super accept packages, dry cleaning, etc. during the day. A large, modern laundry room is located in the basement and is easily accessible from the apartment. There is a shared roof deck with great views of Midtown and the Hudson River. The A/C/E station is one avenue away and the M34 crosstown bus stops around the corner. Also, the 7 train extension is due to open this fall. The building is located close to many restaurants, bars, Penn Station, Javits Center, the High Line and is a short walk from Times Square.

Rent is $1, 325 through the end of July at which time we will renew the lease. The rent has gone up only about $25/person the past few years. Utilities (gas, electric and cable/internet) are not included and are split evenly between the roommates. We are looking for someone that would replace our current roommate on the new lease (12 months, starting Aug 1st).

The remaining roommates are two guys in our mid-twenties working in the investment banking and consulting industries. We are laidback and social individuals that enjoy everything from going out with friends to just sitting around and watching TV. We have people over on occasion, usually to grill and hang out on the patio or to watch a big sports event. We are looking for a roommate that is a working professional, responsible and clean.
